Ayisigi Bay

Ayışığı Bay, better known to visitors as Moonlight Beach, sits directly behind Kemer's yacht marina on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, just a short walk from the town centre. The crescent-shaped bay stretches roughly 500 metres, its golden sand and pebble shoreline shaded by centuries-old pine trees. Awarded Blue Flag status for its clean water and environmental management, the beach opens onto the wider Moonlight Park, a 55,000 m² green space with picnic areas and walking paths behind it.

The bay's gently shelving, sheltered water makes for an easy, comfortable anchorage, and its position right beside the marina means it is a classic stop on a Turkey blue cruise itinerary, with crews breaking away from the harbour for a swim before continuing along the coast. Restaurants and cafés line the shore for those who want to come ashore, while the calm, shallow water suits swimmers of every age.

Set within the district of Kemer, itself a former fishing settlement that grew into one of the Turkish Riviera's main resort towns from the 1980s onward, Ayışığı Bay keeps a quieter, more local feel than the marina strip nearby, making it a favourite spot for an afternoon on the water rather than a full day trip.
