Kocabuk

Kocabük Bay lies southwest of Göcek and just south of Domuz Bay, within the Fethiye district of Muğla Province, on the sheltered stretch of Turkey's southwestern coast that makes up Göcek Bay. Like the rest of this coastline, it sits within the Fethiye-Göcek Specially Protected Area, where sweetgum and pine forests run down to a shoreline of small, closely spaced coves separated by short stretches of open water.

The bay is valued mainly for its clear, sheltered water and its position tucked away from the open sea, which keeps it calm even when nearby anchorages are exposed to wind. There are no permanent facilities on shore, so visits here tend to center on swimming, snorkeling and quiet time on deck rather than going ashore, which is part of why it remains one of the less crowded stops in the bay.

Kocabük is a regular stop on blue-voyage gulet itineraries around Göcek, often used for a lunchtime swim before boats move on toward Göbün or one of the neighboring bays, and it's worth a visit if you're chartering a gulet from Gocek for those looking for a quieter alternative to the busier coves.
