Adaia Gocek

Adaia is a boutique bay restaurant on Turkey's Lycian coast near Göcek, in the Fethiye district of Muğla Province, tucked into a small inlet reachable only by boat or on foot along the ancient Lycian Way. The venue sits opposite the rock formation known locally as Cleopatra's Cave, in a quiet stretch of coastline still covered in olive groves and pine, where free-roaming donkeys and goats add to the pastoral, undeveloped feel of the surrounding hillsides.

Built to sit within its setting rather than dominate it, Adaia combines a Mediterranean restaurant with a small library and boutique, drawing where possible on produce from the surrounding land and sea. Visitors arrive either by yacht, mooring at the venue's own pier, or on foot as part of a longer hike on the Lycian Way, the long-distance waymarked trail that traces the coastline of ancient Lycia between Fethiye and Antalya, passing scattered tombs and ruins along the way.
