Tri Sestrice Island

Tri Sestrice (Three Sisters) is a small group of three islets in the Zadar Archipelago's Middle Channel, just off the northern coast of Rivanj island, between Ugljan and Sestrunj. Unlike most of their larger neighbours, none of the three has a permanent population or settlement.

The smallest of the three carries a lighthouse, built in 1899: an unmanned, remotely monitored stone tower around 16 metres high, with an adjoining ground-floor building covering about 70 square metres. It is one of seven lighthouses maintained across Zadar County.

The islets are visited mainly for their clear water and quiet surroundings rather than any facilities on land, making them a classic stop on a Croatia blue cruise itinerary for boats threading between Rivanj and Molat.
