Zaglav Beach

Zaglav is a small beach in the Brgujac area of Vis island, reached by a roughly fifteen-minute walk along a rough path from Milna bay — there is no direct road access. It measures about 90 metres of sand and pebble, with clear, shallow water well suited to families with children.

A modest restaurant and beach bar operate in season, but there is little natural shade, so sun beds and parasols are worth renting if you plan to stay long. Because it can only be reached on foot or by boat, Zaglav has stayed quieter than the beaches near Vis Town or Komiža, and it draws swimmers and snorkellers exploring the surrounding coastline; sea kayaks can also be hired nearby.

Its relative seclusion is exactly why it has become a classic stop on a Croatia blue cruise itinerary, reachable easily by boat when the coastal path deters day-trippers on foot.
