Seagull’s Rocks

Seagull's Rocks — known locally as Galebove stijene — is a rocky bathing spot in the Stoja neighbourhood, the most western part of the city of Pula. Unlike Pula's organised city beaches, it has no loungers, showers, bar or lifeguard: access is via natural rock platforms and a short path through pine woods, roughly a ten-minute walk from the nearest bus stop on line 4 in Stoja.

Its appeal is the setting rather than any amenities: high white cliffs, deep, very clear water and a series of natural entry points along the rocks. The area is regarded as one of Pula's best snorkelling spots, with good underwater visibility and small sea caves nearby to explore.

Because it sits right on the western edge of Pula itself, Seagull's Rocks is easy to combine with a look at the town's more famous Roman sights, and it makes for a popular stop for gulet charter guests exploring Croatia.
