Prozura

Prozura is a small bay on Mljet's north coast, sheltered by the small island of Planjak and two smaller islets just offshore — protection good enough that it's become one of the more popular overnight anchorages on this side of the island.

The village itself is modest: around 50 houses and a couple of taverns, with views across to the Pelješac Peninsula. It's about 1.5 nautical miles from Sobra, Mljet's main ferry port, where you'll also find the nearest fuel station if you need one.

There's no real road access that matters here — most people arrive by boat, which is part of why it's stayed quiet. The shoreline is mostly pebble, backed by pine, and calm enough through summer to make it a comfortable overnight stop rather than a big attraction in itself.

It's not a headline destination, but as a sheltered stop between the better-known anchorages, Prozura is a popular stop for gulet charter guests exploring Dubrovnik.
