Dubrovnik Love Stories Museum
Just below Fort Lovrijenac, a few steps from the Pile Gate, the Love Stories Museum is a small, independent museum built almost entirely from donations — old love letters, photographs, and personal keepsakes sent in by people from around the world rather than pulled from an institutional archive.
The exhibits are loosely grouped by theme: local legends and real romances tied to the city and its walls, a section on films and TV shows shot in Dubrovnik — including Game of Thrones, Robin Hood, and Star Wars — and a room on songs written about or inspired by love. Visitors can also leave their own story or a note on the museum's Love Wall.
It's a quick stop rather than a half-day visit — adult tickets run around 9 euros — and it fits easily into a walk between the walls and the harbor. These days, many visitors combine a day of sightseeing with a private gulet charter from Dubrovnik.
