Drazica Beach

Dražica is Biograd na Moru's main town beach, stretching roughly 800 meters along the southeastern edge of town, a short walk from the harbor. It's pebble and sand, with a gentle slope into the water, which is why it's popular with families. The beach has carried a Blue Flag since 2006, the certification given for water quality, cleanliness and safety standards.

A pine-shaded promenade connects Dražica to the smaller Soline bay just south of it, lined with cafes, snack stands and a few souvenir stalls. Along the way you can rent jet skis, paddle boats and canoes, or just find a spot under the trees away from the sun. There's a beach volleyball court near Soline, and both beaches have showers, changing cabins and a first-aid station. Dražica also has a ramp for wheelchair access into the sea, which isn't something every beach on this coast bothers with.

For anyone coming in by boat rather than by road, this stretch of coast is a classic stop on a Croatia blue cruise itinerary — Biograd's two marinas sit just around the point, and Dražica is close enough to reach on foot once you're moored.

The beach also has a saltwater pool that turns into an outdoor venue in the evenings — concerts, films, the occasional disco — and a diving club right next to it if you'd rather explore underwater than lie on a towel. It's not a quiet, empty-beach kind of place in July and August; it's built for people who want things to do.
